Eid Joy in Hospital Halls

Alumni and volunteer at the surgical ward.

The alumni in Bahrain wanted to celebrate Eid by giving back to the community, so they organized a hospital visit to patients in the pediatric ward at Salmanyia Medical Complex. The event was a two day process; one day was spent wrapping and preparing gifts, the second day was spent distributing gifts to patients.

Alumna and volunteers at the Hematology Dept.

The alumni were extremely enthusiastic to have received such great feedback from the community. Many people including business owners donated money and toys to give to the children. There was also great support from Bahraini youth who joined as volunteers, along with tremendous support from the hospital staff.

A KL-YES alumna at the oncology department.

The alumni were the first group in the hospital's history to be granted permission to celebrate Eid in all the pediatric wards, and successfully managed to distribute gifts to 84 deserving patients. The alumni were very thankful to all who supported them in this endeavor.

Our great team!
